|
Hi, im a all day listener of DFM Pretty much. The only problem with me doing that is, is that I cant listen to it in the car. Now that I bought an MP3 Player, it might be possible. I need serious answers because I only bought the MP3 For DFM.
So heres my questions:
With my MP3, I have a ton of FM Sections for radio stations. What are the numbers for DFM so I can easily listen to it on my MP3 while driving.
Every single time I open MP3 on the listen page, it doesn't show up on my MP3, it shows up on Winamp and starts playing through my computer speakers. And yes, the USB Cable was plugged in.
So if you can answer both my question, or even at least ONE. That would be a big help. Thanks! |

DFM does not broadcast in FM. We are a web station, so we only broadcast on the Internet. You can get it to play on your phone, though, but not on a radio receiver.
Oh, and please don't spam the forums. I removed your other (identical) topic. _________________ diginferno

Oh, sorry about that. I just had realized I hd posted in the wrong section so I duplicated here.
Anyways, can you answer my second question?
And how would I be able to listen to it through my cell phone? |

1 - your MP3 player probably allows you to tune in to FM stations (DFM is not one of them) or play the MP3 files that are stored on it. At least that's what my MP3 player can do. You can't store DFM streams to your MP3 player, and the USB cable has nothing to do with that. At least, this is my (limited, I admit) knowledge of MP3 players.
2 - in order to listen DFM on your phone, you need a smartphone (one that can connect to the Internet, probably over 3G). You need to point the browser of the phone to death.fm, go to "Listen" page and choose a compatible stream, just like you do with your PC. Maybe someone who listens to our streams that way can help you with more information. _________________ diginferno
