New Decapitated Song

Hmmm..... New Decapitated material is always a plus. The music on this song is good. But im not really enjoying the new vocals all too much at the moment. Maybe they'll grow on me. I hope Covan does a tad better job throughout the new album though.

Yeah, the vocals are kinda different. They sound like another band I was just listening to but I can't remember who.

another new track..... http://www.metaltracks.com/freebies/Day%2069.mp3

I can't help but to be disappointed by the vocals :x . on the other hand, the music itself seems more aggressive, which is good. Overall , i'm not impressed.

Well i just heard the whole promo for the album..... and im surprised. So far it's much better than i expected. very technical and aggressive and the vocals actually go with the music fairly well.

Edit: Overall i'm still not impressed but it seems alright after a few listens. this doesn't even compare to an album like Winds of Creation or nihility.
Some of the riffing seems too similar. There's just too much chugga riffing on this. The band's sound has definately devolved from previous albums IMO.

Vocals: not good death metal vocals at all ; very monotonous also.

Guitar: too much chugga riffing, but the solos are insane.Tuned very low.

Bass: seems alright, its sort of hard to hear it.

Drums: very good, seems like this is the only band member that has improved a whole lot.

If you like very heavy chugga riffing with screamed vocals definately check this out. Also recommended for fans of Meshuggah. I think you can hear the promo for free on Earache.com at the moment.
