Who else enjoy's the show Dexter?
The next season begins September 26th. It's the best show on TV these days.

Yes, a russian blue. Well done.
The show Dexter is about a serial killer who has a day job as a crime scene investigator. He mostly kills criminals.
Last season John Lithgow (3rd Rock From the Sun, Harry and the Hendersons) played Trinity, a different serial killer, and there's this really fucking intense scene where he forces a lady to jump to her death.

I don't really watch TV either. It's an HBO "television show," so there are no commercials, plenty of cussing, nudity, violence... They're able to get very gritty, which is why it rocks so much. They don't cut away when people get sliced.
If you have Netflix you can get the DVDs.
Trust me, I know how it is to not watch much TV, but Dexter really is an exceptional show that doesn't insult the audience. If you ever have some time off and get the itch to watch a show with deep character development, excellent dialogue and writing, gritty action and (bloody) violence, truly suspenseful moments and overall high entertainment value, I would suggest it.

Peter Weller? Awesome! Do you know if he's going to be playing a serial killer?
Yeah, plenty of very funny black comedy moments, but none that insult the viewer like sitcoms do. Very dark, very gritty, and totally funny at times.

Yeah me too, generally. I watch a show here and there (Dexter obviously, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Discovery/History/Nature channel) but never ever ever ever schedule my life around it. (Even with Dexter. If I miss an episode I just catch it online or a different day as a rerun. I love the fucking show to death, but in the end it is just TV.) |
