That is actually against the RIAA rules. You can't have "pay to play". You can have a "Pay to play MORE", which is the RIP subscription.

Of course it would be lovely if we had the time to give every genre a station, but that won't happen.
You can't make everyone happy all the time, so we have given up trying. JERIC and I are always discussing what can be done to make it better, and everytime we think we have a good idea, we come up with reasons it won't work. We do listen to the complaints and arguements and we do discuss these issues extensively. Don't give up yet, either side.

Maybe the solution is to censor everything, except maybe for RIP's. The problem is not the music, as its not alive, its just a series of sounds. ... The problem is the people, so just censor all the bitching. It's not like anyone is going to stop listening to death.fm in favor of 'chum95 soft rock in the morning'.
Really think about it, it makes sense from all angles, except the selfish angle. I'm not even a RIP and I'm advocating it. |
