Hey all, i have a real strange problem with msn messenger.

When i log in on msn messenger, it does what it supposed to do and then it disappears in to nothing and when i move over the icon it disappears as well.

First i thought it was my hdd cause it nearly crashed so i put in another one, after i installed everything on my PC, everything appears to be working correctly, until now.

It's only msn messenger that is doing this, windows messenger still is working.
Does anyone know what the problem could be and tell me how to fix it, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work i tried it already.

more info. you could suffer from malware or virus f.e. smitfraud

try to scan your computer whit adaware or spybot and your virus protection software, malwares should be found by spybot and ad aware...

Or the installed Messenger has some bug or damaged files, looks like a crash - in that case a reinstall of a newer (or older) version could help. I guess it still is active in the task manager?
