Hail all,
yesterday we were discussing The Vision Bleak and that it's too bad that it is not in the playlist, so please check them out! It is the project/band started by the Empyrium mastermind Schwadorf after Empyrium was no more. I won't post the album cover, because the website really deserves your attention: the concept rocks and is built entirely around the atmosphere and design of the albums and band...
The Vision Bleak
Both albums (debut 'The Deathship has a new captain' and second 'Carpathia-a dramatic poem') are great, more info can be read on the website...

But you should know, that The Vision Bleak is completely different than Empyrium. The Vision Bleak plays with gothic, horror and doom elements. Folk is not that important anymore.
IMO the Vision Bleak is a bit like Type O Negative. But only a little bit. TVB are darker and more orientated to Death. I dunno if they fit in Death.FM tho.
I like them a lot, but so does my girlfriend who is more into nightwish n stuff |

Yep, totally agree on the different sounding thing... it IS totally different, but really great nonetheless; there was a reason for stopping Empyrium: he felt like he had done everything he could with respect to 'Naturmystik', as he called it himself... so he started a new concept, with a new sound. _________________ On a thin precipice over carnal abyss
