I voted for 86-95...i started listening to metal in 1990 so i'm strongly tied to that period and those bands i grew up with...the golden age of Roadrunner records and Earache ( Suffocation, Deicide, Death, Pestilence, old Sepultura, Obituary, Morbid angel, Nocturnus, Carnage, Napalm death, Entombed )...then old school swedish death metal...and the stories about norwegian black metal...ah the old dear years !!!! _________________ MANNAGGIA L'ANTIMADONNA !!! |

Yeah lot of concerts and above all the atmosphere was different, it was much more difficult to get music and, even if i like technologies, maybe the deleted the " cult " of vinyl and tapes, and that wait of albums to arrive in your local store...anyway, i still remember when i was listening to a metal show on the radio and they gave the breking news of Euronymous killed by the Count.... _________________ MANNAGGIA L'ANTIMADONNA !!! |

Well yes it's weird to explain, but sometimes i miss that old times, when death metal was something " difficult " to get, to find, and difficult to listen to as well But things change fastly, and i realize i'mdoing granpas speeches :P So let's enjoy the possibility of having lot of stuff and discovering million bands _________________ MANNAGGIA L'ANTIMADONNA !!! |

I always wondered what Dave Lombardo did when he was'nt with slayer. I guess he's back now - He was the drumer on "God Hates Us All" and was with Slayer when they were on Viva La Bam (MTV). |
