I love chrome. But i dont know what the hell google is doing but sometimes google is fucking lightning quick and them its will randomly goto garbage. I literally timed chrome loading google @ 3 minutes and 17 seconds. And other times i cant even find google. I have to close and reopen.

This problem has been reported but google hasnt done a damn thing. So i have found a solution.

1. Uninstall chrome
2. Install Safari
3. ????

tryed that,
uninstled safari.... that was like candy but did not work like I wanted
Reinstalled Chrome, i took all the scheduled tasks that google installer created away... and have got no problems since

The loading time is caused by the srupidest ever updating sequence what is created by using scheduled task and thing called Google updater. Google updater does not start automaticly by it self, so removing the scheduled tasks regarding google will stop its delays which are caused by the infernal ammount of chrome clients trying to fetch their updates. The time out for this is in my knowlidge 5 minutes, so you got your update check (that does not mean that your chrome is updated)

Chrome is being built around the idea to execute JavaScript way more faster than the other browsers out there, but unfortunately this applies mostly to the Google services, that benefit from JS. Chrome will be experiencing major issues for at least 1 or 2 years more. You can try Chromium instead, http://code.google.com/chromium/ , which is open source and is more likely to be receiving quick fixes, since it is community built. The major difference with Chrome is the support of multimedia plugins, which require 3rd party decoders.
If you need "faster browsing", i would suggest Opera, or a FireFox installation with a profile without toolbars and a minimal set of decoders and plugins.

I'm using Chrome, but only for DFM. For all other browsing, FF is preferred. For some reason Flash & Chrome don't go well, so I prefer FF.

Why anyone would use Chrome when you have Firefox or Opera is beyond my understanding. Rolling Eyes

Try Opera. And for me it is a matter of principle using anything by Google.

I agree with Dark here, Chrome & Safari are the fastest. I think Safari's a little faster than Chrome & is definitely good.

i think it is dependable of free memory stack, the less memory you have free more faster the opera seems like and more memory you have to spend safari gets faster... and the chrome is in between

Im using Chrome Beta 9.0, which seemed to fix alot of my issues.

But its pretty much expected... Its usually always Chrome/ Safari or Safari/ Chrome. Its cool tho that Opera was in 3rd Smile
