I have many of you on my IM list and IDK which client I gave you to use
but my yahoo ID has been locked by yahoo. No idea why but it's not working anymore. If you wish to re add (or add in some of your cases) me to your contacts list use this ID on MSN: *redacted out: please contact via PM for info* Please make sure you tell me who you are when adding me. Thanks guys
*edited by digi: please don't post your unobfuscated e-mail on public forums _________________ - Does this hurt ? -

Have you tried logging in to Yahoo via the web interface? If the account is locked, they may want you to change your password or something, and you won't see that info in your IM client.
That happened to me, too, some time ago. I used my Yahoo address to create an account on another website and that website got compromised. The operators of the compromised website, which is a popular one, had their members informed and Yahoo also cooperated with them, forcing the owners of the addresses that might have been exposed to change their passwords in order to avoid account hijacking. _________________ diginferno

Have you tried not using anything with Yahoo because it sucks? |

That's odd, I am not aware of any other incident like this. Perhaps something is wrong with your messenger client. _________________ diginferno

Instant Messenger over SSL with Off-the-Record Messaging is always nice.

Nah, OTR is just an encryption package, and it's open-sourced. The team is led by an assistant professor at University of Waterloo, CA. You can find this information in the "People" section of the site.
I hope you're not iffy about OpenSSL, OpenPGP and Enigmail, too _________________ diginferno
