Apart from that, care to explain what USBM means? I honestly don't know...

I guess USBM should mean United Stated Black Metal. lol how stupid all these genre names are! But whatever. There are many great swedish black metal bands. tho nobody seems to have recognized that. Dark Funeral and Marduk are the most popular examples! Absu is US-American too, arent they? |

I agree that Sweden has also very good black metal bands.
But I agree that Germany also have good black metal bands, for example: Darkened Nocturn Slaughercult, Funeral Procession, Farsot.
I also heard some black metal from outside europe that could be very interesting in the future. Not only USA black metal, but black metal from Azia, South America and maybe Africa or the Middle-East. For example Xulub Mitnal (Mexico) or Malefic Order (Turkey).
And i'm also not fimilair with the 'USBM' name... can some explain where this name is came from? |
