I am no great friend of that genre, but some *classics* are not bad:
1. "Night of the Living Dead"
2. "The Hills Have Eyes"
3. "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (the 1978 film with L. Nimoy, D. Sutherland)

3. Evil Dead movies
4. Guinea Pig: Flowers of Flesh and Blood
5. Feast movies.
I do have others but, the best 5 should be fine. |

Oh man Doomsday has to be one of the worst movies ever made...
There's a really good sci-fi/horror movie called Screamers, with Peter Weller, but it's pretty unknown

Recently saw "13 Hours in A Warehouse". Nice one, too, well made. But again, it's more thrill than gore, although there is some gruesome stuff in it.

oh there are good horror movies, i claimed that there is none, but that was for the gorecore movies, i would have start from the classics psycho, back window, alien, it, shining.....
