Is it me or did we lose the 128kps hi quality stream?? 64kps is next to garbage, i cant even listen to this. I hope this is only temporary... |

For now, yes. The 128k encoder was bogging th system down for some reason. 64k mp3PRO sounds just as good but you need to install the plugin for winamp. You can download it from our downloads section.

I have to agree with torturegod. It sounds terrible and i can't believe it to be 44k even if my winamp tells me - It sounds to dull . It's no comparison to 128k (maybe with worse headphones there would be no difference  ... and yes i got the required plugins. |

Anyway, you have to enable the plugin through the properties in winamp, because I used to listen to the 32k stream with the plugin and it still sounded about 80%. If that doesn't work, something is always better than nothing, so be glad to listen to death pipe radio! |

Exactly, it's free to listen and you have a say in what is played. Sure, I wouldn't mind 128k but I don't complain because it's free. Do I want to pay for 128k? No. I pick on torturegod because he complains too much
Oh, and the reverberation from living in a pipe can be a positive from what I hear. It does wonders for your voice, just like singing in the shower |
