Try VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/)

You can find precompiled binaries for various operating systems (including Mac OS X and several linux distributions) here:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

The player seems to play the AAC+ stream from death.fm just as well as Winamp 5.21. It works for me on windows, but I guess it should work on other platforms as well.... Try it out...

Cheers
Vestdam

I use this player for DVDs and videos, great plugins, but difficult for people to get used to the GUI

Are you able to hear SST via Live365 at work?

I don't listen to DFM at work at the moment, but I, like Pixie will not be able to unless there is something compatible with WMP.

I listen to SST with WMP since WMP is left installed on our system. (Even though Live365 is my preference there). At work, we are not able to download anything. I have limited access to everything. I can't even get to my C: drive or right click. Anything that I could use to add anything is stripped.

(I use Winamp 5.094) I try to connect to DFM, then I can hear a sec. the music, then Winamp jumps to the next track or tries to reconnect...

Please try the latest Winamp. I had problems with 5.0x then upgraded to 5.2x which fixed it.

Just a suggestion, istead of posting this in the forums, perhaps its should be on the main homepage of the site with a lil' desciption of how to use it... then if ppl see immediatly on the main page how to use it, the number of listeners might go back up again.

I'm working on that. Unfortunately it takes time which I don't have an abundance of.

For those of you wanting to use Windows Media Player check this out.

http://www.orban.com/plugin/

Download the plugin then reboot. The aacPlus streams will work now. I realize some of you may have restrictions that will prohibit you to install that. If that is the case please let me know.

I will add more listen links soon but here they are in the mean time until I get more time.

At work, jumping with joy! I can hardly believe it. I was able to download the plug-in. I was so worried that for the first time in 3 1/2 years I wouldn't be able to listen to the streams at work.

Thanks JERIC!

All worked fine for me, I don't hear any difference between the MP3Pro I used to use and the aacPlus so I have no complaints B) I just had to switch the shortcut on my desktop.
