One more reason to move to Canada.
I don't even know what it is here anymore, I try not to look, I just know it's over 3$.
My school is 20 miles from my house, and my job about 40, I don't particularly like driving everywhere but I don't have a choice unless I want to get a new job and go to a community college >.<
A lot of people drive SUVs because they're afraid of driving a fuel-efficient car and getting in an accident with an SUV. Shit, I've seen SUVs hit little cars and it's not pretty. I drive a Mercury Sable (20/24 MPG), I chose a big car with a high safety rating for a reason lol. I got hit in the parking lot a while ago by a beatle that was pushed into my car by an SUV that was speeding. If I had anything smaller I probably would have had to pay a ton in repairs.
The other complaint I've heard is you can't see when you're backing out, which is true as well.
The solution: Make all SUVs corn-powered :-O |

gas prices are out of control here too... so bad that Indiana and Illinois are both talking about getting rid of state sales tax on all fuel purchases...saving us about $0.70 a gallon _________________ - Does this hurt ? -

Blasph is right. With that fucking-shit-conversion-machines we have, energy will always be too expensive.

Hm, i stole an idea from the ancient times, instead of prisoners being lazy
and cause costs for the society they could turn a crank to produce energy
(like the former slaves @ the galleys) and pay back their debts in this way.
Sounds inhuman at first sight, but is just a kind of logic.
How about that? |

It's about $3.20 here now, although home heating fuel is ridiculous over here now. |
