I'm asking this since he allowed a couple of clean vocal albums here recently, the Bathory Viking albums. So, with that in mind, should he put some Candlemass up? After all, they are the originators of Epic Doom.

I strongly believe that the idea here is to have a death station. I don't mind some mildly sounding doom / BM / goth+ sounds around, but The Gathering - Mandylion, the above mentioned Bathory and a few more soft albums should not be included in the play lists. This is supposed to be death metal oriented station and Candlemass just does not fit in the picture, although i do like some of their stuff.

i agree whit zombie, I think candlemass is a legend, but as most of legends are, well bit overrated....

I just wanna add to this thread that Bathory latest two additions showed me that some things just don´t belong to this station profile.
Whereas the the first added record had at least kinda spookiness the latest two just are epic and ambient chants (like carols) that don´t belong here.
So some bands just have to stay out or they open doors to any further dilluted stuff.
