Need a new awesome band to sink my teeth in to.
-Showcasing brutal efficiency of dm such as Aeon and (newer) Cannibal Corpse
-Encompassing blackened influences similar to Behemoth, Dimmu, etc.
-Melodic riffs are nice here and there (Black Dahlia Murder)
-Low tuning (B or lower if you can ballpark it)
-Core/ Deathcore influences are okay just not to the point of a goddamn breakdown every 10 seconds.
-Lastly, drums have to be fucking ACE. Blasts out the ass like Hour of Penance and Fleshgod Apocalypse.
Sounds picky...I know. Been listening to the same shit forever and you guys are the only human beings alive that I trust to unleash upon me a fresh serving of brutality. Thanks so much, I'm willing to try anything even if it doesn't abide by all of the above pre-requisites.

There are no new good bands. Death metal is dead for all purposes (core, really awful "brutal" and melodic dm killed it), bm is ruined by the massive influx of crap, including "depressive" bm, not much doom to get excited about lately. Actually the best stuff coming out lately has been in the darkwave neo-folk realm.
