BBC News - Alvin Lee, rock guitarist in the band Ten Years After, dies at 68

One of the finest guitarists of all time.
Damn, I feel old. Ten Years After was my favorite band in high school next to Pink Floyd. Sad

I wonder how many of you children even bothered to read this (oh, yes, a whole 15). One of the top metal guitarists of all time dies, and you probably don't even know who he was. Look to the roots of what you listen to now, kiddies, its important to any thinking person to know a bit about what they are listening to and how it came about. While you are at it research Robert Johnson, Buddy Holly, John Mayall and others that built the music you listen to now. Listen to Lee, give a listen to early Ted Nugent, something will sound very familiar.

Ignorant children. Mad

RIP Sad
I listen to a lot of Pink Floyd besides metal, also Sabbath, Among Duul II, Hawkind and so on it's awesome what you can discover listening to old stuff. However it all comes with age, when I was a teen there was no way listening to such stuff .. I have no expectations from today's youth, the vast majority are completely dumb, take away their gadgets and they're dead. You shouldn't have any expectations either CJ, you should know this by now right?
