I don't have any idea of what happened with Cryptopsy. Some bands put new influences in their songs to make something different, which is not a bad think. But what Cryptopsy made was not this; they simply create a new fucking band. Extreme change in the band, in a bad way.
From respect to the old fans, the minimum that this band could have done was change its name, or finish with Cryptopsy and create another band. However it wasn't what happened and the result is this awfull album. Are this some comercial i$$ues talking higher? Seems like...
What surprises me most is that their last album (Once Was Not) wasn't bad at all. But this is an affront.
If you like older Cryptopsy, stay far away from this album.

How the mighty have fallen! One of the best brutal technical death metal bands ever has been relegated into being considered "deathcore." Ungentle Exhumation, Blasphemy Made Flesh and None So Vile were awesome albums and some of the finest examples of the genre, but then "Whisper Supremacy" came about and the band snowballed into a total travesty. This album is bad.
