Dance Of December Souls

Katatonia’s first full-length release, back when they still made quality metal that’s actually worth listening to. Dance Of December Souls is an impressive album which deftly mixes doom, death and even a touch of black metal to create a cold, atmospheric and unique masterpiece that is quite unlike anything released by other bands combining these metal sub-genres.

Special mention must be given to the vocal performance by “Lord Seth”, whose raw and emotional vocal performance fits in perfectly with the style found within Dance Of December Souls.

A true classic, this album is recommended for fans of atmospheric and sorrowful doom/death metal.
