The reason being is because metal is on a return, but i doesnt quite know that it wants. Thats why there is so much of it all the same, its trying to find its place in all of the garbage that is playing now. |

I also think that everything sounds pretty much alike nowadays. That's why I slowed down my search for new bands, keeping focus in the first wave of BM and some DM. I think it's a natural course: as some bands innovate, tons of others try to do the same as a kind of successful formulae. So it gets to this. I can cite as an example the quantity of ultrafast tech DM bands ou there.
On the other hand, there are a few bands that I still follow and consider quite particular, such as Agalloch, Unexpect and Nile. _________________ "Fists are in the air. banging everywhere thrashing to the sound, faces melting down!

LOL, just listen to Agalloch's newest and you are absolutely right, they never sound the same from album to album, even redoing old songs like on the new one. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.
