Panopticon is releasing a new album this year titled Kentucky. It focuses on the American history surrounding the state on several different topics. I find that music this genuine is very hard to come by nowadays, but this one man band has done something amazing with this album.

Here's 2 tracks available for streaming.

I'll be donating this album much later this year when it is released in CD format, but do yourselves a favor(especially those of you who are American and truly appreciate American culture) and get this album. It is most definitely an album you will have to sit down and listen to to absorb the complexity of the stories being told not just through the lyrics, but the music as well.

thanks for sharing this, supersmoke. I enjoy studying American history (first came across it in a library studying for my SAT II exams 5 years ago) great to have some music to go along with it too. Learning about history and culture helps us to appreciate and understand people and places they way they are today. I always thought Panopticon was awesome but this perspective makes me like the work of Austin Lunn even more
