According to the news, a Yahoo! subdomain has been breached by a team of hackers, resulting in about 450K accounts having their credentials published on-line.

I know that 450,000 isn't such a large number, but better be safe than sorry...

I'm always using Yahoo or 10minutemail.com when i register somewhere, so i'm thinking - if anyone bothers to hack/publish this info, do that/those guy/s have bigger.... thingies?

Bigger "thingies", maybe, but a zombie would definitely starve if it relied on them... Anyway, as it turned out, those accounts were linked to the contributors network. Regardless, a SQL injection hole is lame.

Digi, sql injection is a pretty much regular stuff for hackers, it woul'd 've been a lot worse if they we able to replace the .htaccess with their own - THAT would be really scarry. this is why all server versions requests should be denied. anyway, talking crap as i'm working on shit like that... sorry about the post pollution
