Unfortunately, I was first introduced to metal at the age of ~14/15, and started with Metallica (never bought any of the three old albums, got them all as giftes) and had to navigate the world of metal by myself after that, so started of with some melodic death.... The first album I bought myself have to be either Mecenary - The Hours that Remain or In Flames - Reroute to Remain.
A lot have happened since then Peace

It must've been one of these four (cassettes). Most likely I got Kill 'em All first.

In my case, that is true. Never had the need to buy any music (mostly because I never heard anything that really made me go crazy, and the few albums I wanted before metal, well I got those as gifts), until after I was introduced to metal (+14 years old).
Well, still don't have that "need" for buying music, so it is very rare I buy a CD. DFM simply does the trick for me! Smile
On the other hand, I buy way to much merch when I'm attendig to concerts, but that is my way of supporting Smile

No, mine was a Vangelis album, but I'm not sure I can remember which one it was, "Chariots of Fire" I think.
