Why would you go from a metal intro straight into a piano solo? Music should create a mood...mine was irritation.

The reason why it abruptly goes in to a piano interlude is that the intro is continuously morphing, morphing, and morphing still, changing forms, into something else, aka, the interlude. And I figured the title would give an idea as to why. It's easy to see a star exploding in another galaxy, but people never really see the star before it explodes, therefore the chaos at the beginning, which leads to the piano part, the nebula. Though, no one would see the nebula. It's actually a quite common symphonic progression, usually used as a climax. Listening to one of the main influences of modern symphonic music (the stuff that ends up in movies), "The Rite of Spring", the progression is pretty typical actually, for a climax though.

About your review, actually your review was quite typical (of other reviews I have gotten elsewhere), of positive and negative reviews alike. Some people like the interlude, others hate it. I think some people expect repetitiveness from a "song". This wasn't written as a "song". Maybe I will have a full budget in the future for a full movie, but until then, or, without that, I will write music just like this. Incidental.
