Perhaps in the request forums(and others) we should have a limitation of
topics you can per week(5?).
And perhaps in replies a similar limitation in some certain areas like, only
10-15 replies in the request forums a day or week.

This would help keep any potential spam at a more reasonable rate.

Great idea for the request forums. Especially considering the quantity of topics in the past 72 hours or so and the chances that some of these bands actually will be added. \m/

IMO, this is not an acceptable solution, at least not in this form. The playlist request suggested format implies creating (ideally) one topic per album requested. These limitations would cripple the freedom of expression. Let's not make generalizations here, meaning that one person's attitude should not be automatically projected upon the other members of the community.
