Well, that pretty much explains everything I think.
Like I've said in the chat a couple of times already, I've been here since May 2005 and I've seen this station expand (first time I joined there were 20-30 listeners, now the average is +/-100) and saw it include more "styles" of metal and new bands which I'm happy to have discovered thanks to this station.
And for those still bitching after this has been made clear, I'd suggest you start your own online radio... |

this is a really kick ass idea and i support it all the way you guys gotta remember that it costs money and time to keep this up and running all hes asking for is a little money to off set costs of running and to keep adding more content to the site if you dont like the idea of paying then dont become a vip and dont bitch about it either |

This could be an obvious question but ill ask it anyway, how do you know if youre a vip member? I did notice where the donation meter was there is a vip with a 5 minute request time but when 5 minute are up it sasy i have to wiat longer... am i missing somthing? |

Once the VIP block is fixed, only VIPs will be able to see it. That's how you'll know.

Thanks for all clarification on the matter... This is THE best site around for metalheads loving the darker side of things. Ensuring the future of this should at least be understandable to everyone... Now let's all bow our heads to Jeric and start banging (headbanging that is  )!!

I think the idea is not bad at all. Maintaining a site with much content takes time (I know!), hosting costs money and as for a radio station you must get the music somewhere and somehow. So it's normal to support it and help to keep it alive. And if you get some benefits from supporting aswell - it's even better. No-one is forcing you to pay, it's voluntary. Of course making money shouldn't get the main purpose of the site, so all the fun will disappear without paying.
As for bitchin about the music, well I don't listen to death.fm because I can request my favourite songs but because I don't have to worry about what to choose for listening - death.fm is the best there currently is. Mostly it's really great and it's really narrow-minded to whine about some songs you may not like. It would suck much more if all the songs played would be exactly the same - c'mon there must be some variety. If you only want to listen to your most favourite band all the time then put in a cd and let it loop.
As for death.fm team - Keep up the good work!

No special reason. I haven't seen lots of people request lots of songs in a short time.
So i didn't know if there where VIP members already.
What's your target for this year?
Or do you just wait and see what happens?
