|
There is a problem on vieweing Favorites lists on a browser with zoom out or enlarged text size. As long as the text size grows, the dimensions of the box that contains the Favorites lists do not follow it. As a result, the list is cut to a size that fit the box according to the new text size. This produces something like this:
Notice that the list is cut on #86. It has 100 entries.
There is no workaround since this is a by design user option, dinamically chosen. The area reserved for Favorites lists has its height pre-calculated by the server and then there isn't as to know if the browser is set to display characters bigger than the expected. Also, we can't have a too high area since some browsers (including Safari) give an error to areas with height too big.
The following browsers were verified:
browser | shows the behavior |
---|
IE | no problem detected | FF | yes (sooner when "only text size" is set) | Safari | yes | Opera | yes (but does scroll inside the iFrame) | Chrome | yes |
Further, Opera displayed problems during expanded characters rendering.
Then, in the case anyone has this problem, first verify if the text is being displayed on its normal size. All tested browsers set text to its normal size by the combined keys ctrl + 0 (control + zero).

Well done, sore. I deserved it.
The shame is the same but the list is just a test. |

As some formerly famous comedian (Otto for the Germans...) said:
Just pick the RIGHT numbers?
