bLiNk, try the ogg streams, they should work in any player.
Cheers

Hey guys, I am new to this metal radio and I love it! I am unfortunaly on a 64kbps modem. And accplus 64k sounds so great, it's almost not skipping, but still its a bit annoying. Would it be hard to make a 56kbps or 48kbps accplus winamp stream? accplus 32kbps is also very good, but 48kbps or 56kbps would be perfect. |

I went with 64k because it sounded much better than 48k. I hope 32k aacPlus will do for dial-up. I think it sounds great and should give you a steady stream with a little more room to navigate the site while listening.
Thanks for the kudos. _________________ "It's all Venger's fault! We oughtta do something about that guy. " -Eric

so I'm at work right now trying to figure out how the heck to get death fm to play! Since I'm at work, I really have no download privledges whatsoever. I can download said files from this thread, but then I cannot install.
Any help here? I'm getting bored and all I hear is Gwen Stephani blaring from my co-worker's cubicle!!!! arghhhh!!! |

Ok, figured everything out!!!! woo hoo!!! I had to install Winamp into a personal file on a shared drive (wouldn't let me install directly into program files on the work computer).
Then opened winamp, kept trying to hear the station to no avail...so then found an option on winamp if you right click the skin, you can select "play".
...then i highlighted the station link with the media player icon and manually typed in the forwarding address when you hover the mouse over the link. I typed that into winamp itself and now it works.
awesome! |

congrats.
My boss told me yesterday, and I quote, "The IT guy says you can't listen to mainstream music, it's using up all of the bands, or something like that".
In other words, I'm not allowed to streaming music, because it's using up the bandwidth. Although it was funny that she said we can't listen to mainstream music..because she's computer illiterate.
Kinda sucks though. I usually listened to Death.fm when there weren't too many people around though since I've been playing my music fairly loud to drown out this old woman who plays Swing and Big Band.
Anyhow, now they have to suffer through the same CDs, played over and over again. That is, until I just start streaming music and not giving a shit, since my boss obviously doesn't even know what streaming music is. |
