(User Info | Send a Message) | | The contents itself are funny mostly or prepare for the mood to come. But as customer i feel very much betrayed, abused, twitted if theres a known Band... you walk right into the shop, pick the CD, turn the Cover, see the tracks: "Cool 15 brand new tracks".
You go to the account and sneak into it. Ok; an intro starts, who cares , all bands do it. song 2-4 blast you away. You go ready for buy.
You come home and put it into the stereo. The intro only marks the first song after 10secs it skips, song 5 instrumental, song 9 interlude song 13 interlude, song 15 outro.
Hey hey hey, Did someone lack creativity? Did Marketing say " 15 songs" is better than 10?
Overall the 15 tracks end after 37 mins you put the "long" player aside and think: "jeez i must have been a dork as i prelistened, but song 2 and 4 are still worth it, aren´t they?!"
I hate bands making intros and whatever without marking any playtime on cover to hide their lazy ass attitude for being musicians and trying to sell shit to the fans by filling up the discs with asshole attitude.
If a band makes an elevating intro to raise tension then they should put it right into the trackline with the song, so it becomes clear that it´s part of the listening pleasure of this song.
As a paying customer im really pissed and fed up with these 35 mins longplayer and 17-tracks-but-only-10-are-real-records that are disrespect of the fan. |

(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.rachekrieg.de | | If executed or inserted rightly, Intros may be great (I like musical intros better than just cheap cuts from films) but most bands don't do it that way. Still I voted yes, because there are nice intros. But still most of 'em may not be right for a net-radio like Death.FM, so if some are unfit or plain stupid just keep them out of stream (I think this is what the poll was about, isn't it?). |

(User Info | Send a Message) | | Damm... I like intros... Little with feeling or medium and energitic intros... I guess intros with large duration doesn't fit with the death metal soul, unless it is a vanguard song.
I really like musics with an intro full of darkness or something else like that... |
